Scientific
Our doors can go from -80 degrees f to 180 degrees f on the same opening. Some of our customers include car manufacturers, tractor manufacturers, and the makers of food equipment. Our doors are in environments from the Arctic to the Sahara.
Scientific chambers need exceptional doors. We can help you design and build a door with your specific experimental needs in mind. Do you need positive air flow to reduce or eliminate foreign contaminants in the environment? Some of our doors are on enclosures that grow skin, store lung tissue, map the human genome, and store biologics below -40 degrees. We have multiple ways to seal your door to assist. We also have a double-swing door that one door opens into the refrigerated chamber and the other opens into the outside environment. Necropsy doors are also a specialty.
As times have changed, our R-Plus Cold Storage Doors have changed too. How? One way is that we have tested new polyurethane insulations and subsequently moved them into our production, helping to protect the environment and hold down expensive energy costs.
We designed and implemented a new hinge for swing doors that will adjust for variances in walk-in cooler's and freezer's measurements after installation, when it is too late to correct for a proper and energy-efficient seal. This same adjustable hinge saves the day when an older walk-in cooler or freezer begins to settle causing the doors to sag.
